After the Galactica makes an emergency jump during the initial cylon attack. Sometihing goes wrong with the FTL jump and the Galactica finds herself in an alternate time line two days before the Cylon attack on the the colonies. The Galactica from this time line is MIA after it went to investigate a strange anomaly near the armistice line. The CDM is still built but with the fail safe that all military vessel can go off grid (no Networking) in case of a cylon cybor attack. This was recommand by some of the surviving 1st cylon war commanders with Cmd Adama leading this argument.
